Clubs & Organizations

Clubs & Organizations

  • The Seven Pines Student Council Association is led by our 5th-grade leaders. Elected 3rd - 5th grade members meet to discuss our school community and work together to Seven Pines LEVEL UP!

  • Fit4Kids Garden Club is a program offered by Greater Richmond Fit4Kids, a non-profit organization focused on improving the health and wellness of children in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area. The garden club, as part of their broader "Learning Gardens" program, is a hands-on experience designed to teach kids about healthy eating and the joy of growing their own food. Members participate in Hands-On Learning, Educational Curriculum and a "tasting" experience!

  • The Seven Pines FIRST teams introduce elementary students to science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and engaging way. Team members use the core values & HLP to celebrate a love for discovery and learning.

4th Grade: Challenge Team focuses on building a robot, competing in robot games, researching & creating an innovation project, and demonstrating FIRST's core values.

2nd Grade: Explore Team focuses on building a team model, creating a poster that explains their learning journey, exploring the seasons theme while discovering STEAM careers, and demonstrating FIRST's core values while they explore an introduction to Lego robotics.

  • This year, 5th-Grade students are partnering with READtoRUN. READtoRUN is an engaging program designed to foster a love for reading and physical fitness in elementary school students. This amazing program puts books in the hands of our 5th-grade penguins. Students will dive deep into a book with the guidance of Ms. Underwood and create a project. Then students will select their own books (to keep) and read to run! After completing 2 books independently, students will earn  a pair of shoes!

  • K-5 Club Days

This year, the entire student body is participating in interest-based clubs! Students completed interest forms, choosing from a wide variety of clubs. A few examples of choices are origami, baking deserts, news and media, coding, arts & crafts, dance, running, and kickball; every student is guaranteed to find a club that interests them. During this time, all classes stop and switch as we come to together and build relationships with students.
